Hours
What are your hours of operation?

Zio Casual Italian's current hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 5 pm to 9:30 pm, Friday through Saturday from 5 pm to 10:30 pm and we are closed on Sundays.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the restaurant business, we do occasionally adjust our closing times according to business volume.

Is Zio open on holidays?

Zio is closed for most major U.S. holidays, including; New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Also, we sometimes choose to extend our holiday closings in order to give our staff additional time to spend with their loved ones. We make every effort to inform our customers when we will be closed, but if you have questions just give us a call!
Are you open for lunch?

No, we are only open for dinner, however, we do provide our catering services during lunch hours.

Does Zio offer catering?

YES, we cater! Our Catering Menu offers all of your Zio Casual Italian favorites in generous sized portions for pick-up or delivery.

We will deliver catering orders with at least 24 hours notice for a delivery fee based on mileage from Zio.

We have gift cards available for purchase at our restaurant, by phone, or online.
What forms of payment do you take?

Zio accepts Cash, Zio Gift Cards, and most major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Our current specials are always up-to-date on our Specials menu page, and this is also where you will find our Daily Blackboard Features!

Do you have gluten-free menu items?

Gluten-free pasta can be substituted in any dish for an additional charge. We do not offer gluten-free pizza.

Many of our dishes are cooked-to-order and, therefore, can be customized for those that are on a gluten-free diet.
Can you accommodate specific dietary requests?

We will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs. However, because all of our dishes are prepared in the same kitchen, we can not guarantee that any menu item will be completely free of allergens.

Do you deliver?

Zio does not currently offer delivery, except for catering orders (for an additional charge.)

Do you have a full bar?

We do! Zio has a full bar with premium spirits and expert bartenders specializing in classic cocktails.

In addition to our wine list, we also offer beer by the bottle and on draft.

Our beer taps feature brews from some of the areas best local breweries, including Triple C Brewing Co., Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Legion Brewing, and Sugar Creek Brewing.
Can I bring my own wine? What's the corkage fee?

Yes, our corkage fee is $12 per bottle of wine.
Can I take my unfinished bottle of wine home?

In accordance with North Carolina's Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws, partial bottles of wine may be re-corked and taken home.
Does Zio have Drink Specials?

Zio has HALF PRICED bottles of Wine every Monday and Tuesday!

Where is Zio Casual Italian located?

Zio Casual Italian is located in the Eastover neighborhood, near the Myers Park, Elizabeth, and Dilworth neighborhoods of Charlotte.

We are approximately 2.6 miles from Uptown Charlotte.

Nearby landmarks and attractions include Queens University, Presbyterian Medical Center, Mint Museum, Freedom Park, The Duke Mansion, Manor Theater, and SouthPark Mall.
How do I get there?

Our physical address is 116 Middleton Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28207. MAP IT

We are approximately two blocks from the intersection of Providence Road at Queens Road.

Zio is located on the lower level of the building (formerly Five Steps Down Pub & Grill.)
Where should I park?

We have two parking lots; the first is located directly in front of our building, and the other is on the left side (when facing the restaurant.)
Is Zio Wheelchair Accessible?

Portions of our outdoor seating area are wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately, the inside of our restaurant is not because we are located on the lower level of our two-story building (built in 1974.)

If you are a person who uses a wheelchair, or other mobility devices, we gladly offer free curbside service for take-out ordering. Just let us know what placing your order!
Do you have outdoor seating?

We do offer outdoor seating on our Patio and in our Garden Courtyard.

Our outdoor seating space is only partially covered and, therefore, is available dependent upon weather conditions.
Can I bring my pet?

Of course! We love pets at Zio and welcome them every day on the patio or in our courtyard. Water bowl provided!

Under NC Environmental Rules, dogs and cats are allowed in outdoor dining areas (provided they are physically restrained.)
